The board approved an unpaid maternity leave for Markie Tarleton beginning March 9, 2026 for the remainder of the school year. It also approved Anna Debolt as a preferred teacher substitute retroactive to Feb. 23, 2026 at a rate of $115 per day and issued one-year limited contracts for Kayla Cromley (educational aide) and Dan Kinsey (bus floater, step 0), each with a 90-day probationary period pending credentialing.
Additional personnel actions approved included up to 30 extended service days for Jasmine Russell for the 2025-26 school year, the district's approval for Claymont buses to be used for YMCA summer programming (with all costs charged to the YMCA), and the placement of Lily Specht as a student teacher for the 2026-27 school year with named mentor teachers. The board approved classified substitutes as presented; motions passed on roll call.
