Claymont board approves February financials and certifies tax levies totaling $7.8 million

The board also approved a resolution accepting amounts and rates determined by the Tuscarawas County Budget Commission that included Permanent Improvement at 4.2 mills ($1,241,000), Current Expense at 20.5 mills ($5,300,000), Permanent Improvement at 2.0 mills ($476,000) and Current Expense at 3.0 mills ($783,000), a combined total of $7,800,000. The motion passed on roll call with all members voting yes.
