At the Claymont City Board of Education's Jan. 12 organizational meeting, trustees voted unanimously to elect Martha Campbell as vice-president for 2026. The motion to elect Campbell was moved by Mrs. Grandison and seconded by Mrs. Wolf; following the vote Treasurer Kim Beckley administered the oath for the vice-president position.
The unanimous vote came as part of the board's routine officer elections at the start of the year and immediately preceded the approval of committee assignments and administrative items for the coming year. "Mrs. Grandison made the motion, and Mrs. Wolf seconded the motion to elect Martha Campbell as Vice-President of the Board of Education for 2026," the record shows.
