Council approves home permit and updates Star Harbor police services MOU

The Log Cabin City Council approved a site-built home permit for Karen Davidson at 14291 Doc Holiday, a 612-square-foot dwelling, after the Planning & Zoning chair said the commission had no questions. Councilmember Larry Sutherland moved to approve the permit; Bill Sims seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Council also accepted an updated memorandum of understanding with the nearby community of Star Harbor for police services. Mayor Jennifer Williams said Star Harbor reviewed and approved the MOU; the only change from the previous year is removal of code-enforcement services and the associated monthly fee because Star Harbor now maintains its own code enforcement. Larry Sutherland moved to accept the Star Harbor MOU for Police Services; Randy Page seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
