The Log Cabin City Council on Sept. 19 voted unanimously to adopt the city’s 2024–25 fiscal budget by approving Resolution 24-11.
Mayor Jennifer Williams opened the public hearing and answered a citizen’s question about the budget and tax-rate approval process before the council took action. Councilmember Randy Page moved to accept Resolution 24-11 and Bill Sims seconded; the motion passed with all members voting in favor.
The vote followed a short public hearing in which officials described the formal steps for budget and tax-rate adoption; no written statements were submitted. The council did not make changes to the proposed budget at the meeting and did not attach additional conditions to the resolution.
The next procedural step is for staff to finalize budget documents and incorporate the adopted figures into fiscal-year reporting.
