Commissioners approve local action for Charlotte Tavern liquor license, state approval still pending

Commissioners and staff agreed to make sure the licensee is informed about the state timeline; staff said their office will contact the owners to confirm expectations. The approval recorded at the meeting is a county-level step only; the county noted the state’s processing time and the licensing agency’s role in final approval.
