London ISD board approves Centegix panic-alarm purchase, accepts routine consent items

The London Independent School District Board of Trustees met Sept. 9 and approved routine consent items and a security-equipment purchase that the district described as a panic-alarm system.
Neal Daniels moved to approve the consent agenda, which included minutes from previous meetings; Cara Fines seconded and the motion carried. The board later approved the proposed purchase of Centegix after a motion by Jessica Gutierrez and a second from Cara Fines. "The District proposes the purchase of Centegix as a panic alarm," the board record states.
Board members set future regular meetings for Oct. 14 and Nov. 11 and noted there were no items to consider in executive session under the Texas Government Code provisions listed on the agenda. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
