Later in the agenda, trustees approved a furniture purchase following a motion by Scott Frazier, seconded by Michelle Braselton; the motion carried with recorded unanimous support.
On a separate personnel motion, trustees approved the appointment of a chief of police. The motion to approve the hire was made by Jessica Gutierrez and seconded by Blake Chapman. The recorded vote shows Michelle Braselton voted No; the remaining trustees voting on the motion recorded Yes.
