On June 9 the Lometa City Council approved a motion directing the City Attorney, Zac Morris, to prepare a lease agreement between the City of Lometa and the Lometa Volunteer Fire Department for property at 106 E. San Saba Street. The motion was offered by Gloria Martin, seconded by Alex Witherspoon, and passed unanimously.
The minutes record the direction to draft the lease but do not include draft terms, rent, maintenance responsibilities, or proposed lease length. Those terms will be developed by the city attorney and returned to council for review and approval.
