Mayor Wanda Irish told the council that "the city had budgeted $4,000 for pump-outs but has already exceeded $9,000," and the council asked for additional information, including whether particular septic tanks require more frequent service. Will Butler moved to table the amendment until the next council meeting; Charlie Shutt seconded and the motion passed by recorded vote.
