Mason ISD board nominates candidates to Mason and Menard county appraisal district boards

During its Sept. 22 meeting, the Mason ISD Board nominated candidates for two county appraisal district boards. For the Mason County Appraisal District, trustees nominated Dave Underwood, Jim Bob Smith and Randy Kruse; the motion by Eric Buell, seconded by Joe Langehennig, passed 7–0.
For the Menard County Appraisal District, trustees nominated Valera Corbin, Jay Cunningham, Jamie Jacoby and Nancy Wenzel. That motion, made by Jim Bob Smith and seconded by Tina Cantu Navarro, also passed unanimously, 7–0. The board noted rules on the number of nominations permitted for each district (may nominate up to five for three positions on Mason CAD; one candidate per position for Menard CAD).
