Schiller Park commission sets candidate and promotional exam schedules; final eligibility lists due in June

The commission reviewed recruitment and promotional schedules at its April 14 meeting. Staff reported that 27 candidates took the written NTN examination and 26 passed; oral NTN candidate exams are scheduled for May 18 (evening session) and May 19, with the final eligibility list to be posted on or after the week of June 1, 2026.
For promotional testing, the police department posted a reading list on Feb. 19, 2026. C.O.P.S. will administer written promotional exams on May 26, 2026, and oral promotional exams on June 2; the final promotional eligibility list is expected on or after the week of June 15, 2026.
