Board ends several extra‑duty assignments, approves volunteer coaches and acknowledges resignations
Summary
The board approved resolutions ending extra‑duty/stipend assignments for five staff members, approved four volunteer assistant coaches, and acknowledged the retirement of Janet Robbins (effective June 30, 2026) and resignations of Sidney Shopinski (Feb. 23, 2026) and Brandy Harland (Feb. 24, 2026).
On a combined motion by Dilliner and seconded by Rounds, the board adopted multiple resolutions terminating extra‑duty or stipend assignments for Regina Tinsley, Leslie Hacker, Rodney Sides, Marcus Clarry and Grace Phelps. The motion passed by roll call (5–0).
The board also approved volunteer assistant coaches on a motion by Kirk and seconded by Kelly. Approved volunteers are Chris Walle (HS boys track assistant coach), Brian Laur (JHS girls track assistant coach), and Zach Rounds and Jamie Lance (JHS boys track assistant coaches). The motion passed unanimously.
Finally, the board acknowledged personnel departures: the retirement of HS Office Manager Janet Robbins effective June 30, 2026; the resignation of District Cook Sidney Shopinski effective Feb. 23, 2026; and the resignation of JHS Cheerleading Sponsor Brandy Harland effective Feb. 24, 2026. All acknowledgements passed unanimously.
