The Buffalo ISD board approved several routine items tied to federal compliance and operations. Trustees approved the business-office and federal grants procedure manual (EDGAR compliance), noting it largely mirrors last year's procedures and consolidates purchasing, travel and cash-management practices required for federal programs.
The board then approved the campus student code of conduct and the campus/district improvement plans and comprehensive needs assessment for 2026-27; administration stressed the improvement plans align federal spending to documented campus needs. Trustees also approved adding the new high-school campus secretary to student activity account signature cards. All items were approved by motion and voice vote during the meeting.
