Administration reported that a third-party TrackCam (referred to as "Angel Tracks" in the discussion) installation began on buses and that the system will provide near real-time video access for incidents during routes. "They began installation today," staff said, adding the system provides "up to the 2nd up to the minute information for our students and our drivers."
Staff also described GeoTab telematics to track bus location on a map, detect maintenance alerts such as check-engine lights, and provide fuel-usage diagnostics to inform service scheduling. Trustees and staff said the technology should improve safety and allow quicker responses when mechanical or routing issues arise.
