Buda Library outlines fall programs: ESL, support groups, after-school activities and a Ballet Folklórico performance

Staff outlined a slate of fall programs and community offerings: ESL conversation classes through Community Action will resume Monday and Wednesday mornings; an anxiety and depression support group will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings; Buda Kids, an after-school program for elementary students, runs 3:30–5 p.m.; Self Care Saturday is a four-week series; and a Ballet Folklórico company from Texas State is scheduled to perform in the library lobby on Sept. 27.
Staff encouraged commissioners to spread the word and noted other offerings such as adult art classes, cooking classes, and a 'fake cake' workshop scheduled Oct. 5. The commission took the schedule as informational and did not take formal action on programming at this meeting.
