Library staff said the summer was unusually busy: "a total of 220 programs, attendance almost 7,400," Linda reported, describing an average of more than two programs per day during the June–August period. Staff called the reading club the most successful to date, reporting about 730 readers who together recorded 770,460 minutes read.
Staff acknowledged that some year-over-year comparisons were available but not on hand at the meeting; those data can be produced later. Commissioners praised the growth, and staff pointed to expanded usage of computer stations, Wi‑Fi, and study rooms as contributors to the increased patron traffic.
