During the superintendent's presentation the board approved a package of contracts and capital‑project documents for the coming year. Items approved included a memorandum of agreement with SCOPE Education Services for 2026‑27, agreements with Legacy Studios, the AIA standard form agreement between the district and Laser Industries for playground capital improvements, and an AIA G701 change order covering landscaping at Norwood Elementary. "It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the AIA document, standard form of agreement between owner and contractor for Laser Industries, regards to the district capital improvements, and that's the playgrounds," the superintendent said when introducing the Laser Industries agreement; motions to approve each contract were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board also adopted a resolution authorizing a governmental lease purchase agreement between the district and Huntington National Bank to support district financing, and approved an amendment to an agreement with Peter Mitchell. The transcript records approvals and the parties involved but does not include contract dollar amounts or project timelines.
