On a motion by Councilmember Nathan Kalkhake seconded by Councilmember Paul McLaughlin, the council accepted the consent agenda, which included minutes from July 8 and July 15, 2025, financial reports, and the Mayor’s, City Secretary’s and Utility reports. The motion passed and the minutes record no opposition.
The consent packet contained several substantive updates: the TDA CDV21 grant final walk-through and closeout, drilling under way for Water Well #5 by C. Miller Drilling, an ongoing easement negotiation for the Knittel Lift Station, and the subdivision committee’s final recommendations turned to the City Secretary for ordinance drafting. The council’s acceptance of the consent agenda carried these administrative items forward for staff follow-up.
