Burton Council adopts amended 2025–26 budgets to reflect first-quarter actuals

City financial reports included line items and summary pages for April through June 2025 showing variances in sales tax, property tax and other revenues, and a set of expense categories. The packet lists total income figures and net ordinary income calculations for both the city operating fund and the water & sewer fund; staff presented those budget-to-actual numbers during the meeting.
The budget action was recorded as an approval in the minutes. The council did not attach additional directives to the budget motion during the meeting.
