Burton council hears water and grant updates; pre-construction meeting set May 22 for Well #5

The utility report lists system totals for April: 1,606,800 gallons pumped and 1,351,520 gallons sold, with reported water loss around 6.55% (the minutes note that as "GOOD"). The report also lists average usage, numbers of meters (239 total) and other operational totals included in the packet.
Council did not take a final action to change project scope at the meeting but recorded next steps (the pre-construction meeting and continued easement negotiations) and directed staff to continue grant administration and follow-up.
