The superintendent provided a capital improvement update focused on Career and Technical Education planning ahead of bond projects.
He said the district met on June 11 with CTE teachers, the athletic director and design teams to review needs for CTE and athletic spaces and described the meeting as a multi‑hour planning session. The superintendent said, "I did approve some survey work to be done that we'll use bond funds for. It'll be completed in August," and that a biweekly meeting schedule will begin after July 4 to refine timelines and cash flow.
Board members were invited to participate in a Portrait of a Graduate session on Aug. 13. The superintendent said more detailed timelines and design concepts will be shared as planning progresses.
