Mayor DiSalvo said parks show a reduction from last year in the requested budget and that Beautification and Main Street Revitalization are recorded the same way in the draft. Trustees discussed whether Rec Department staff should take on grounds care; Trustee James Ramus said, "we need to have a chat with the supervisor about the Rec Department taking care of the grounds."
Storm sewers and catch-basin painting were raised as part of streets and beautification work. Trustee Ramus said the DED will supply a stencil for painting catch basins. No final reallocation decisions were recorded at the workshop; these items will be finalized in the tentative budget and during follow-up with department supervisors.
