Highland Falls board sets tentative budget deadline, schedules April public hearing

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Highland Falls set the tentative FY26-27 budget deadline for March 20 and agreed to schedule the public hearing for April 6 before the Reorganization meeting, Mayor DiSalvo said. "The deadline for the tentative budget is March 20th. Can’t touch it after that until the Public Hearing," he said.
Mayor DiSalvo told trustees the tentative budget will include expenditures through March 15 and that staff are working with department heads to finalize the draft this week. The board has copies of the FY25-26 adopted budget for reference as it finalizes figures.
