Resident urges sidewalks and Safe Routes to School application after TxDOT talks

City Manager Matt McMahan responded that the city had applied for the Safe Routes to School grant previously but was not accepted and planned to reapply in the spring. McMahan also said TxDOT had contacted the city about work on Highway 36 and that sidewalks had been discussed as part of that project.
