Council authorizes TxDOT AFA to reimburse fuel tank and POS costs at Caddo Mills airport

The Caddo Mills City Council unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter an Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) with TxDOT Aviation to cover costs for a fuel tank and a point-of-sale system at the Caddo Mills Municipal Airport. Airport Manager Phil Eaton explained the city had already paid for the fuel tank and was seeking reimbursement through the AFA.
"they had already spent the money on the fuel tank but hoped that they would get some of the money back through the AFA," Eaton said. The council voted to authorize City Manager Matt McMahan to execute the agreement after staff confirmed the AFA met TxDOT requirements.
