The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors approved several routine motions during its Sept. 2 meeting, including an amendment to the agenda to add a Recycling Grant item and a $6,929 list of disbursements.
Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to add the Recycling Grant to New Business and later moved to approve the disbursement list; both motions were seconded by Vice Chair Brandon Geyen and carried 3-0. The board also approved equipment-related spending: Chairman Helman moved to authorize up to $9,250 for grader tires including installation, a motion seconded by Christensen and carried 3-0.
Other financial items recorded in the minutes included $78.63 in petty cash used for election food and a $45 per-person registration fee approved for the Fall Maintenance Expo. The meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m. after a motion by Geyen, seconded by Christensen, carried 3-0.
