The Burkeville ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda at a regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, at the Learning Center in Burkeville. Trustee Summers moved to approve the consent agenda and Trustee Mathews seconded; the motion passed on a recorded vote of 6-0-0.
Items listed under the approved consent agenda were: Meeting Minutes; Business Office Report and Financial Overview; Board Recap; Tax Office Report; and Invoices. In the meeting minutes Summers said, "I move the Board approve the Consent Agenda as presented." The minutes record no separate discussion of the individual consent items.
The approval finalizes routine administrative business and allows district staff to proceed with the financial and tax-office actions summarized in the reports. The minutes show six trustees present (Lowe, Jones, Summers, Hicks, Mathews and Rowe) and one absent (Noble). No subsequent motions or amendments to the consent agenda are recorded.
