At its Aug. 22 meeting, the Bynum ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved an order authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds. Joey Dawson of Live Oak provided an update on the sale of the bonds before the vote.
Craig Tipton moved "to adopt an order authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of Bynum Independent School District Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds and provisions related thereto; levying a tax and providing for the security and payment of such bonds, and enacting other provisions related thereto," and Kelly Cordell seconded. The board's vote was unanimous and the motion carried.
Board members did not specify the bond principal or detailed spending plan in the minutes; district officials in attendance included administrators Larry Mynarcik and Brandy Faulknor. The item was recorded as a formal action on the agenda and will appear in the district's official minutes and bond documentation.
