Commission hears CVRPC update: Open Meeting Law guidance, transit cuts and H.687/Act 250 notes

He said CVRPC commissioners recommended that, under the Open Meeting Law, meetings should include either audio or video recordings. Turner told members he had circulated an email with material on the new H.687 law and its ties to Act 250 ("pages 23 to 30"), and urged members to review those pages.
Turner also reported transportation budget pressures: "Green Mtn. Transit cut an estimated million dollars from their budget. Orange County should be o.k. The transit link to Burlington might get cut," he said. The update covered both regulatory guidance and regional service changes that could affect local transportation options.
