Zoning staff Missy Flores reported that the July deposit listed in her report was $8,072.92 and the year‑to‑date deposit to the general fund is $175,726.18, which exceeds projections. "Deposit for the month of July, not June in my report, was $8,072.92," she said when opening her report.
Flores said the office issued six code‑enforcement violations in July (five for no permits and one for an abandoned camper) and that two administrative hearings produced fines totaling more than $70,000; if appeals are not filed by Aug. 26 the county can issue liens. She noted ongoing contractor meetings for a local solar installation and that a special‑use approved lab site on Tower Road drew interest from two parties; staff will follow up with building‑inspector reports and legal consultation on foreclosure options for delinquent properties.
