Calvert council approves minutes, pays accounts payable and schedules Jan. 13 meeting

On Dec. 9 the council approved Nov. 25 minutes, authorized payment of accounts payable, set the next regular meeting for Jan. 13, 2025 and adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
The Calvert City Council approved the minutes from its Nov. 25, 2024 meeting and voted to approve and pay the accounts payable as presented. Council Member Walston moved to approve the Nov. 25 minutes (seconded by Council Member Wiese) and Council Member Wiese moved to approve accounts payable (seconded by Council Member Walston); both motions passed unanimously.
The council discussed its regular schedule and, because the Dec. 23 meeting fell during the Christmas week, moved the next regular meeting to Jan. 13, 2025 by motion of Council Member Wiese and second of Council Member Walston. Council Member Crabtree moved to adjourn and Mayor Pro Tem Alford seconded; the meeting adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
