Caddo Mills adopts ordinance allowing restricted prior service credit for incoming TMRS employees

The Caddo Mills City Council unanimously approved an ordinance on Dec. 17, 2024, authorizing restricted prior service credit for employees who are members of the Texas Municipal Retirement System. City Manager Matt McMahan said the ordinance “allow[s] people coming from another TMRS city to add to their time to get to the 20-year requirement rather than starting over.”
