At the Nov. 18 work session, Finance Director Peter Anjewierden led a briefing on the city's Water Fund and its near-term considerations. The presentation occurred after Mayor Russell Porter opened the session at 5:02 p.m.; Council Members Mike Howard, Susan Stewart and Jeanette Smyth were present and participated in procedural motions to begin and adjourn the session.
City Manager Matt Dixon asked that the Finance Department’s update on the strategic plan be presented during the remainder of the work session. The minutes record that the water fund discussion concluded with time remaining and the strategic-plan item moved forward; there was no formal vote or change to the Water Fund recorded in the minutes.
