Robert Hopson moved, and Tim Helms seconded, approval of the consent agenda. The motion carried unanimously. The consent package listed a proposed item (7d) to consider giving the superintendent authority to offer teacher contracts; the board took no action on that specific item during the vote. The minutes show the board reviewed the check register and investment report as part of the consent motion.
