The letter also requested an itemized estimate of infrastructure costs the city would face for each developer's proposal and asked the council to hold a public hearing before deciding on the disposition of the property.
Reading the letter into the record, Councilwoman Leary said the Buckroe Improvement League "request a response to the above items respectfully" and asked the council to give the public an opportunity to provide input. The letter, dated March 25, 2009, was submitted on behalf of Beverly Crandall, president of the Buckroe Improvement League.
