The Board granted conditional approval to the Class B beer‑and‑wine license application for Atelier Creperie (applicant: Leonard and Julia Casanoff), subject to staff clearance of outstanding items and inspections.
Leonard Casanoff told the board the team is remodeling the former Starbucks location on 7th Street College Park Plaza and is targeting an opening around Oct. 31, 2026. He described a menu of crepes and pastries, wine pairings and a cashless POS setup that will require ID checks for alcoholic purchases. “We hope by the end of October,” Casanoff said when asked about timing.
Staff inspector Christopher Smith reported an inspection and noted outstanding items including business licensing, finalized health licensing and occupancy permits; a reinspection will be required before a license can be issued. The board approved conditional licensing through Dec. 31, 2026 with staff‑level clearance required for outstanding statutory and local items; the motion carried 3‑0.
The licensee agreed to complete required ABLE/manager trainings and to coordinate final inspections with staff; the board welcomed the new business as a local dining option.
