Council tables joint election agreement with Fort Bend County

City Secretary Ingrid Flournoy asked the council to table consideration of the joint election agreement and contract for election services with Fort Bend County because the county had not provided a finalized contract. "At this time, Fort Bend County has not provided us a contract yet," Flournoy said, and she asked that the matter be moved to the upcoming special meeting.
Clerk recorded the motion to table; the council voted to table the joint election agreement. Flournoy said she will bring the item to the special meeting once the county provides the contract language.
