Whatcom County participants say Apple Health enrollment ahead of release helped secure appointments and medication

This amazing privilege service is essential to my medical needs as I am currently preparing to release to the community and have medical needs," the participant said, describing scheduled appointments at Harborview and mental‑health supports.
Correctional health staff and council members thanked the participants for sharing and noted Whatcom County’s launch occurred recently; presenters said the pilot is working but staff availability and facility readiness will vary by county.
