Commission approves consent agenda, votes to reschedule August and September meetings

Chair announced that the commission likely will not have a quorum for the August 13 and September 10 meetings and proposed canceling those dates and instead holding a special meeting the week of Aug. 24 to consider business scheduled for both months and to accommodate two tribal compact hearings. "We are proposing to cancel the August 13 meeting as well as the September 10 meeting and instead schedule a special meeting to consider those agenda items," the chair said.
Commissioners checked availability and asked staff to coordinate a firm date with tribal partners; possible dates discussed included Aug. 17, Aug. 20 and Aug. 28. The chair instructed staff to notify commissioners promptly if availability changes.
