The Canyon City Commission held a Special Meeting at 12:30 p.m. on April 13 in the City Commission Chambers. Mayor Gary Hinders presided and Mayor Pro‑Tem Cody Jones and Commissioners Paul Lyons, Robyn Cranmer and Danny Potter were present.
Planning and Development Director Dustin Meyer presented an agreement to secure professional engineering services to prepare an Economic Development Administration grant application and scope a potential wastewater utility extension to the property east of the I‑27/US‑87 interchange (Kim Road property). After discussion, the commission unanimously authorized staff to execute a contract with Hi‑Plains Civil Engineers, LTD. The meeting record notes no public comments. Mayor Pro‑Tem Jones moved to adjourn at 12:37 p.m.
