Council approves consent agenda including Main Street code changes and storm-water plan

Midvale City Council approved its consent agenda on Oct. 21, which included minutes from Oct. 7, 2025; Ordinance 2025-O-18 amending sections of Chapter 17-7-11 (Main Street Form Based Code) to clarify rules on noise, outdoor dining, cooking, light pollution, signage and building uses; and Resolution No. 2025-R-62 adopting the city’s Storm Water Master Plan.
Council Member Paul Glover moved to approve the consent agenda and Council Member Bryant Brown seconded; the roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval among members present. The staff report provided the ordinance amendments and the storm-water plan for council consideration.
