Board endorses Madison-Oneida BOCES administrative budget and submits BOCES ballots

At its April 16 meeting the Stockbridge Valley Central School District Board of Education approved the Madison-Oneida BOCES tentative administrative budget for 2025 26 in the amount of $7,495,365. The minutes break the funding as $1,287,306 in expenses by components plus $6,208,059 in earned interest and other miscellaneous revenue. The roll call lists Herb Bingel, Mike Gough, Kristin Guinto, Carol Marshall, Jaime Renner and Board President Jonathan Strain as voting "Yea."
The board also authorized the District Clerk to submit and certify ballots for members to serve on the Madison-Oneida BOCES sole supervisory district and recorded approvals to cast ballots for three nominees: Sally Sherwood (Camden Central School District), Dr. John Costello, Sr. (Oneida City School District) and Suzanne Carvelli (Rome City School District) for terms beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2028. Each nomination was approved 6 6.
