Winkler appointed to ADRC Governing Board; Penny Helmle reappointment to county board agenda
Summary
The board appointed Tracy Winkler to the ADRC Governing Board (motion Holman/Wood). Staff noted Penny Helmle’s Aging Advisory Council term expires in August and Heath will add her reappointment to the next county board agenda.
Scott Shackelford updated the board on ADRC and aging council membership. Tracy Winkler volunteered for the ADRC Governing Board and the board approved her appointment on a motion by Stephanie Holman, seconded by Richard Wood; the motion carried.
Shackelford also reported that Penny Helmle’s term on the Aging Advisory Council expires in August and Helmle indicated she wishes to be reappointed; County Administrator Richard Heath will place the reappointment on the next County Board agenda. That item was treated as information only and no vote was taken at this meeting.
