Supervisor Richard Fogarty told the Stratford Town Board that the town received an NBT Bank transfer of $300,000 earmarked "for the purchase of the plow truck" and reported Fulton County sales tax distribution for the fourth quarter of $93,474.39 and year-end interest income of $41,399.41. He presented the NBT bank statement and budget vs. actual report for public review.
Fogarty also reported ongoing work on the highway contract and said a mediation meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2025. He noted he had a copy of the LaMont plans for the town barn and proposed sending them out to bid and testing the town barn water to evaluate the need for a water softening system in future budgets. "He also received the NBT Bank Transfer of $300,000.00 for the purchase of the plow truck," the meeting record states.
The board took no separate formal vote specifically authorizing the purchase at this meeting; the transcript shows the funds were transferred and recorded in the supervisor’s financial report.
