David Rackmyre, Stratford's Code Enforcement Officer, told the board he has been conducting inspections, met with residents by appointment, and has obtained a new APA land-use map for his office. He reported attending continuing-education training in Albany (Oct. 7–9) that provided 20 of the 24 hours required by law and a 3-hour class at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Oct. 2.
Rackmyre also updated the board on enforcement action: he attended court on Sept. 17 regarding a property citation for trash and debris at 6161 St Hwy 29A and said the owner was given until Nov. 19, 2024 to complete required cleanup. He asked the board to review the Building Codes Permit Pricing for 2025 and consider possible updates.
