The Board of Selectmen recorded the following formal actions during the July 22, 2026 special meeting.
1) Move budget transfers to Town Meeting - Motion: Move both budget transfers presented to a town meeting on Aug. 10, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall Assembly Room. - Mover: Michael Krenesky; Second: Peter Betkoski. - Outcome: Approved (all ayes). Transfers: $27,000 to sludge processing; $16,960.29 to Public Works overtime (in addition to $19,999 previously noted).
2) Approve and forward FY27 Police Private Duty rates - Motion: Approve FY27 PPD rates as amended (Nonprofit/School flat rate $86.00; External Weekday $123.00 +10% vendor = $135.30; External Weekend $164.00 +10% vendor = $180.40) and forward to Board of Finance. - Mover: Michael Krenesky; Second: Peter Betkoski. - Outcome: Approved (all ayes). Exhibit B contains rate calculations and vendor fee notes.
3) Adjournment - Motion: Adjourn the special meeting at 1:09 PM. Mover: Peter Betkoski; Second: Michael Krenesky. Outcome: Approved (all ayes).
