District 69 reviews 2025 state assessment results; three schools designated Commendable

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Megan Aseltine presented Spring 2025 assessment information for grades 3–8 (IAR) and for grades 5 and 8 (ISA). She cautioned that the State changed proficiency cut scores this year, so proficiency results create a new baseline and cannot be compared directly with prior years; growth metrics remain comparable and will be used for instructional planning.
Superintendent Dr. Margaret Clauson reported that Madison, Edison and Lincoln earned "Commendable" designations on the 2025 Illinois Report Card. Madison returned to Commendable after a prior designation as Targeted; the school will continue a multi-year ISBE-required School Improvement Planning process focused on progress for students with disabilities. Dr. Aseltine noted that individual family reports were distributed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and ParentSquare.
