Skokie District 69 board adopts FY26 budget, approves consent agenda

The consent agenda included authorization to pay bills dated Aug. 31, 2025, in the amount of $523,564.27 and multiple personnel items (temporary hires, new hires and accepted resignations). The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Dr. Mark Chao and seconded by Mr. Devin Savage and carried on the roll-call shown in the minutes.
Board President Dan Freeman opened the meeting and the vote concluded after routine approvals and staff recognitions. The budget adoption was recorded on the standard ISBE form referenced in the motion and will guide the district’s fiscal year running July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. No amendments to the budget were recorded in the meeting minutes.
