Quarry expansion approved with reclamation and operational safeguards

The board granted the expansion with conditions: restricted hours of operation and crushing, continuous equipment maintenance, dust control meeting EPA standards, a pipe gate at the entrance, no automatic expiration of the CUP unless complaints arise or conditions change, and reclamation plans and financial guarantees conforming to county non-metallic reclamation rules or WDNR Chapter 30—whichever requires greater performance. The board recorded a unanimous vote.
